What a website costs.

Three prices, written down, so you can work out whether this is worth a phone call without having to make one. Every job is quoted before it starts and the number does not move afterwards.

How it goes

  1. A phone call

Twenty minutes. What you do, who comes in, and what you want the site to make happen.

  2. You see it built

I put together a real page with your photos and send you the link. Nothing is owed until you have looked at it.

  3. You mark it up

Tell me what is wrong, what is missing and what I got backwards. This is the part that makes it yours.

  4. It goes live

Domain pointed, search listings updated, and a call so you know how to change your own hours.

Questions worth asking

Do I have to pay it all up front?

Half to start, half when you are happy with it and it goes live. If you get to the end and do not want it, you do not pay the second half.

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain is in your name, the files are yours, and if you ever want to move it somewhere else I will hand it over without a fuss.

What do you need from me?

Photos, your hours, and about an hour of your time on the phone. I write the words and you tell me where I got your business wrong.

Do I need the monthly plan?

No. You can host it yourself for a few dollars a month. Most people take it because they would rather text me than learn how any of it works.

What if I already have a website?

Then the question is whether it earns its keep. Send me the link and I will tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or just needs fixing.

How do I know it will be fast?

Open any of the sample sites on your phone and run a speed test on it. That is the same build you would get.

Have a look before you decide.

Four finished sample sites, built the same way yours would be. Open one on your phone and see how it feels.
